Lovely sunny day 8 deg so nice walking temperature.

We parked on the mail road but there is a really nice square with loads of parking.
The first 2-3 hundred yards are on road then up a steep bank with fantastic views back over Elham village

Continuing over very well kept footpaths with kissing gates in most fence lines

Arriving back on a little country lane there is even a Dog Flap in this fence line

Further on past the Old Rectory we are back on well looked after footpaths

Through a small Spinney where we stopped for lunch, a sharp left turn through a boggy field then down hill

Up the other side onto a road where we found this Bramble growing up through an ald road sign

Soon we are back off road

and in sight of Elam again

Back in the Square and into the Kings Arms for a Coffee and a Guinness

Conclusions on this one are Good, well kept paths, easy to follow and beautiful country views
