Chartwell was Country Home of Sir Winston Churchill

Another nice day, overcast but 7 - 8 degrees C
Walk started by the Church, across the main road and down Water Lane

Soon to arrive into open fields, we should have turned right but kept straight on so done the walk in reverse.
then into woodland

Where we found this cave, no idea what it is or was

More wood and a welcome break for lunch

More woods

View over to Churchill's gardens

We arrive at a country road and got to the top of these steps before the GPS told us we were going the wrong way
Bit of road work to get to the next footpath

which eventually arrives in a wide open field with a really remote little cottage
And the little bridge on the last 1/4 mile back

where we went into the little tea room to the left of Churchill's monument and had a nice hot coffee

Conclusion, the best walk to date.
